Dr. Alaa is a distinguished pharmaceutical executive with nearly 25 years of progressive experience across core commercial disciplines, including Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Business Development, and General Management. His career is marked by a consistent record of strategic leadership and impactful contributions within top-tier multinational and regional pharmaceutical organizations across the Middle East.

In September 2025, Dr. Alaa was appointed Head of Commercial at Arcera, where he applies his deep strategic acumen and operational excellence to drive commercial performance and market expansion. Before this role, he held managerial and senior leadership positions at GSK, Novartis, Abbott, and Managen Biopharma, delivering measurable results at both country and regional levels.

Dr. Alaa holds multiple advanced degrees in Marketing, Management, and Finance from globally recognized institutions, including ESCP Europe and Concordia University, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mansoura University.
