Amoun started out in 1976 with only a handful of imported products. Today, it manufactures 150 human pharmaceutical products in 270 different pharmaceutical forms, representing 18 different therapeutic classes in addition to 28 veterinarian products of the highest quality.

We are certified by

• ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) in May 1997.
• BS-7799 (Information Security Management System) in April 2002.
• OHSAS-18001 (Occupational Health & Safety System) in May 2000.
• UNIDO (Innovative Enterprises in Africa) in 1997.

All of whom are accredited by the British Standardization Institution (BSI), a U.K. government body.

In 2006, Amoun Pharmaceuticals was acquired by a consortium of U.S. based investors comprised of Citigroup, Capital International and Concord International Investment.
