Composition: Each tablet contains: Sildenafil (Citrate) 50mg.
|

Properties: Vigoran® (Sildenafil) is rapidly absorbed after oral administration with bioavailability of about 40%. Maximum plasma concentration is reached within 30 -120 minutes (median 60 minutes). It is metabolized predominantly in the liver into an active metabolite.
Both Sildenafil and its major metabolite, N-desmethyl Sildenafil, have terminal half-lives of about 4 hours and both are 96% bound to plasma protein.

Indications: Vigoran® is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

|
Contra-Indictions: -Â Â Â Hypersensitivity to Sildenafil. -Â Â Â Patients on nitrates therapy.
|
|
Adverse Effects:-Â Â Â In about 2% only of patients: Headache, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion or diarrhea may rarely occur. -Â Â Â Abnormal vision: Mild and transient, predominantly color tinge to vision (a bluish tinge or haze to vision) but also increased sensitivity to light or blurred vision. -Â Â Â Other adverse effects may occur in less than 2% of patients, which include:
Cardiovascular adverse effects:Â Â Â Angina pectoris, AV block and syncope. Digestive adverse effects:Â Â Â Vomiting, glossitis, stomatitis, rectal and hemorrhage. Metabolic adverse effects:Â Â Â Thirst, edema, hypoglycemia and gout. Respiratory adverse effects:Â Â Â Dyspnea and bronchitis. Nervous adverse effects:Â Â Â Hypertonia, neuralgia and neuropathy. Urogenital adverse effects:Â Â Â Cystitis, nocturia, urinary frequency and urinary incontinence.

Dosage & Administration: Dose: -   One tablet (50mg) of Vigoran® is to be taken one hour before sexual activity. The dose may be increased to a maximum of two tablets (100mg), not more than once per day. -   Starting with a dose of 25mg should be considered in geriatric, hepatic or renal patients.

How supplied: Packs of one or two strips each of two tablets.
